Waverley Borough Council secured Park Mark and Park Access awards across its car parks.
The Surrey council received a Park Mark award for 26 of its car parks. This is granted to parking facilities that meet the requirements of a risk assessment conducted by the police and the British Parking Association (BPA). These requirements ensure that parking operators have implemented measures to deter criminal activity and anti-social behaviour, thereby reducing the fear of crime in their facilities.
