A car-free bridge is being built over the A10 to link the new Waterbeach housing development to Cambridge Science Park, Cambridge Regional College.
Investment in the bridge forms part of a package of sustainable and active travel measures by the Waterbeach development including investment in bus services and a sustainable travel hub.
The pedestrian, cycle and equestrian bridge, which was designed in consultation with user groups, was granted planning permission in Spring 2022.
