The next phase of the £250m A38 Derby junctions scheme is underway after a second legal challenge failed to block the scheme.
The scheme is designed to separate local traffic from the strategic road network (SRN), enhancing safety, reducing delays, and providing more reliable journey times, said National Highways.
It will involve changes to three roundabouts, a new underpass and widening the A38 to three lanes in each direction between Kingsway and Markeaton junctions.
