A memorial event to celebrate the life and work of widely respected senior transport planner David Bayliss,who died last year, is to be held at the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) in London on Thursday 1 May.
The event will be jointly hosted by the TPS, the RAC Foundation, the Rees Jeffreys Road Fund and Imperial College, with all of which he was involved.
Figures who knew and worked with David over his long career will be sharing their reflections in the main theatre of the ICE, between 6.30pm and 7.45pm after which there will be a drinks reception.
