The DfT appears to be keen for Home Zones - residential streets designed to allow a range of community activities and very low vehicle speeds - to be rolled out across the country. Indeed, it has recently issued a consultation document on draft regulations and statutory guidance for England (LTT 26 Aug) in an attempt to speed things along.
