Newry station redevelopment and access road, County Down

Translink, the public transport company that runs Citybus, Northern Ireland Railways and Ulsterbus, is inviting tenders for the redevelopment of Newry station, on the line between Belfast and Dublin. The work includes a new station building on the site of the existing structure which is to be demolished; a footbridge linking the platforms; a 300-space car park; and extending the station platforms to take longer trains.
