The Government last week gave the go-ahead and published draft Orders for the A3 Hindhead tunnel. A 1.9km twin-bore tunnel will take the existing dual carriageway road under the Devil's Punchbowl with link roads connecting it to the A3 at Boundless Lane junction and Maple Grove junction.
