Hyde bus station was officially opened on 10 December. The enclosed bus station has automatic doors to bus stands, a travelshop, CCTV, and toilets. The adjacent taxi rank has been upgraded with a new sheltered waiting area. Four double bus stands and two single bus stands enable 30 departures an hour. Provision has been made for the future installation of real-time passenger information.
