A new town square in Acton was completed on 4 December. The triangular public space, known as The Mount, has been created at the junction of King Street and The High Street and includes new paving and street lighting, trees and benches. Funding from the London Development Agency will enable a street market to be established and a programme of events to be held in the square over the next three years.
