Product description:
SISTM is a microscopic motorway simulation model owned by the UK Highways Agency and developed by TRL for studying and evaluating methods for reducing congestion on motorways. The model aims to replicate the behaviour of individual drivers and contains car following and lane changing algorithms. It also contains modules for estimating vehicle exhaust emissions, fuel consumption and traffic noise.
