SATURN is a suite of flexible network analysis programs. It has six basic functions: a combined traffic simulation and assignment model for the analysis of highway networks; a ‘conventional traffic assignment model for the analysis of large networks; a simulation model of individual junctions; a network editor, a database and analysis system; a matrix manipulation system; and a basic trip matrix demand model.
