Southend-on-Sea Borough Council is delivering personal travel plans (PTP), through a project staffed by volunteers. Our LSTF project aims to promote sustainable transport and increase low carbon economic growth. By targeting neighbourhoods experiencing a degree of socio-economic deprivation with PTP, we have sought to exploit opportunities within the programme to offer training, volunteering and work experience in order to develop employability and increase skills.
