Helen Flynn, chair of the Dales Integrated Transport Alliance (DITA), describes how local transport hubs create greater awareness of transport options in rural areas

A major part of “Connecting the Dales” is concerned with the creation of local transport hubs throughout the Dales Integrated Transport Alliance (DITA) area, which is comprised of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The idea was that the hubs would both serve their local community with travel information and options, and act as a network to create greater awareness of transport options throughout the DITA area.
