I read with interest Steve Melia’s Viewpoint in last week’s issue (‘Local authorities have failed: it’s time to transfer the National Cycle Network to the Highways Agency’, Viewpoint LTT?31 Oct). Steve rightly highlights the poor record we have in this country of providing adequate infrastructure for cyclists. I would recommend a visit to the Warrington Cycle Campaign’s website where the ‘facility of the month’ series demonstrates how badly wrong...
