Go Ahead and East Thames licences cut

Both Go Ahead-owned London Central and Transport for London’s in-house operator East Thames Buses have seen their operators’ licences cut by 20 vehicles each at a public inquiries held by south eastern & metropolitan traffic commissioner Philip Brown.

The London Central inquiry was called following a wheel loss incident in July 2008 and a subsequent VOSA maintenance investigation saw 40 prohibitions of which four were ‘S’ marked. In its defence the company said...
