Gtr Manchester authorities wary of Atlantic Gateway plan

Plans to treat Merseyside, Warrington and Greater Manchester as a single economic area, with improved transport links, have been criticised by local authorities in Greater Manchester.

The North West Development Agency is working on a concept known as ‘Atlantic Gateway’ and a report explaining the concept is expected in the next few weeks.
