A new speed monitoring device for use by local communities concerned about speeding traffic is being used in Buckinghamshire. The Community Speedwatch, developed by Traffic Technology, replaces the need to point a conventional radar gun at passing motorists and therefore minimises the chances of confrontation between community volunteers and motorists.
