The Chilterns Conservation Board and National Trust have teamed up to monitor the work of the Government’s High Speed 2 company.

HS2 chairman Sir David Rowlands has already confirmed that the line from London to the West Midlands will pass through the Chilterns.

Chiltern Conservation Board planning officer Colin White told LTT that the organisation and the National Trust were meeting with HS2 at eight-week intervals for briefings about the route.
