Deadlock between council and contractor Bam Nuttall suggest busway could be two years late

Frustration over contractual issues that have left the Cambridgeshire Guided Busway delayed by more than a year boiled over into a public dispute during March between Cambridgeshire County Council and contractor Bam Nuttall.

It raised the real possibility that without resolution of the fraught relationship between the two sides, the busway could eventually finally open almost two years later than originally proposed when the scheme was approved by government back in 2006.
