Flintshire County Council in North Wales is to apply to the Welsh Assembly Government to take over on-street parking enforcement from the police.
Flintshire is the only council in North Wales yet to acquire the powers. The council anticipates enforcement will be self-financing and hopes to take on the powers in June 2011....
