Sonic device repels seagulls from shoppers car park in Hastings

Although the sound of seagulls is to be expected in a seaside resort, but when seagulls threatened the running of a car park and presents a significant health hazard decisive measures are called for to alleviate the problem.

The Priory Meadow Centre’s top deck at the shopping centre  — a total area of 4,000m2 — was infested with roosting seagulls. The combination of bird guano, waste and feathers covering the deck rendered the top level a no-go area for customers....
