Despite the doom and gloom surrounding the economy, the recent UK Bus Awards conference at Warwick University gave a chance for industry thinkers to recognise some of the achievements that have been made despite the recent recession.

Leading the charge was Brighton & Hove managing director Roger French, who said: “We aren’t surviving the recession, we’ve survived the recession. Optimists amongst us would say, ‘Recession? What recession!’”
