German state rail operator Deutsche Bahn displayed an ICE high speed train at London's St. Pancras International station as part of plans to commence operations from London to Amsterdam and Frankfurt from December 2013.
Three services, which will also serve Brussels, Cologne and Rotterdam, will run each day. However, approval for the new operation is dependent on approval of the use of the ICE train through the Channel Tunnel and on the High Speed 1 route linking Kent with St. Pancras.
