When Kent County Council’s leader, Paul Carter, was interviewed for LTT 568 he apparently commented that some people in the transportation arena needed to “get real”. Perhaps he should take his own advice. At a time when his council has to make massive funding cuts he appears to be happy to spend large sums of money on studies of expensive schemes that have little or no chance of being implemented.
