No case for extensive on-street EV charging network, says DfT

The DfT this week placed the onus on electric vehicle owners to recharge their cars at home or at their workplace, saying that an extensive public recharging infrastructure would be underutilised and uneconomic.

The policy is explained in the Department’s new Plug-in vehicle infrastructure strategy.
