The manufacturer of the Parry People Mover railbuses is  in talks with a rolling stock leasing company and landowners/ developers about a £5m plan to reinstate passenger trains on a freight-only branch in the West Midlands.

In October, the Government pledged £1m of Regional Growth Fund cash towards the cost of introducing a passenger service on the four-mile line branch between Stourbridge Junction and Brierley Hill, from where passengers could walk to the Merry Hill shopping...
