Casio has released its new IT-9000 handheld unit for use in applications that need on-the-spot printing, such as parking enforcement and public transport ticketing.
The IT-9000 comes with an in-built thermal printer, a near field communications (NFC) reader/writer designed for contactless smartcards and radio-frequency identification (RFID) tags.
Six models are available, including ones with a colour auto-focus digital camera and GPS capability.
