Plans for a national network of coachway corridors on motorways and trunk roads could offer UK customers a completely new travel option

The concept of coach-train, or Car à Haut Niveau de Service (CHNS), is being explored as an interurban public transport solution in several locations in mainland Europe. But there are some agitators who believe that even the schemes proposed so far have barely scratched the surface of the potential for coaches.
