Leeds wins DfT’s appraisal study

The Institute for Transport Studies at the University of Leeds has won the DfT’s contract for an international study of best practice in transport appraisal (LTT 21 Dec 12). Meanwhile, the DfT this week issued a new statement to LTT in response to Professor Phil Goodwin’s comments that the way the Department planned to score bids for the study was irrational (LTT 25 Jan).
