Brum paper launches campaign to back bid for DfT cycling funds

The arrival of the Cycle City Expo in England’s second city was enough to get local paper The Birmingham Mail waxing lyrical about the scope to increase cycling there. Elsewhere, meanwhile, the war of words between cyclists and motorists continued unabated.

ON 26 APRIL, The Birmingham Mail piggybacked on the LTT-supported Cycle City Expo in England’s second city to launch “a new campaign backing a bid for £17m investment that would transform cycling in our city”.
