The Love London, Go Dutch campaign was launched by the London Cycling Campaign in February 2012, and in the weeks before the May 2012 election all the leading London mayoral candidates signed up to promote continental-style cycling infrastructure in the capital. ‘Go Dutch’ principles have been embraced within the Mayor’s Vision for Cycling in London but the enthusiasm for continental-style highway infrastructure is now extending beyond just providing for cyclists.
