Transport for Greater Manchester was this week awaiting official confirmation that it has secured a £15m grant from the DfT to boost cycling in the conurbation.
The DfT had yet to make an announcement of the successful bidders to its £30m Cycle City Ambition Grant as LTT closed for press. But a Greater Manchester MP this week hailed the award of £15m to the conurbation.
