Northamptonshire County Council plans to designate about 60 hectares of council-owned land beside junction 9 of the A14 on the southern edge of Kettering for commercial development. The council says sale of the land, which is not currently identified for development in the core strategy, could raise £20m-£45m, with the development including offices, industrial development and a new highway depot.
