Rail service frequencies between Swindon and Westbury in Wiltshire are to be enhanced with funding from the DfT’s Local Sustainable Transport Fund. First Great Western plans to launch extra services in December (and no later than next March) with Wiltshire Council providing financial support for the first three years using a portion of its LSTF allocation. The council will pay £595,000 in 2013/14, £628,000 in 2014/15 and nothing in 2015/16 (LSTF expires in March 2015)....
