More aircraft noise for West London

Thousands of west London residents would have their respite from aircraft noise reduced if a third runway at Heathrow is built, according to documents uncovered by anti-expansion pressure group HACAN. Information submitted by Heathrow Airport to the Government’s Airports Commission shows residents living under the existing southern flightpath would only get four hours break from noise each day. They currently get eight hours respite when planes switch runways at 3pm....
