IPC to set up independent appeals service in Scotland

A new appeals service will allow drivers in Scotland to challenge private land parking charge notices. From April solicitors and barristers in Scotland will handle cases involving members of the Independent Parking Committee (IPC). Currently drivers in Scotland can only take their appeal to the enforcement firm that issued the ticket and have no recourse to an independent tribunal.
