Transport for London is to award Trapeze a five-year contract extension for the provision of the iBus bus communication and information system.
Siemens won a ten-year contract for iBus in 2005 worth £162.4m, which was novated to Trapeze in 2009. The new five-year contract commences in May and could be lengthened by two further one-year extensions. The full seven-year contract would be worth £98.2m.
