Souter Investments has acquired the New Zealand long-distance coach operator Naked Bus for an undisclosed sum.
Souter Holdings already has substantial bus, coach and ferry interests in New Zealand, and carries 13 million passengers annually. Bus entrepreneur, Sir Brian Souter, set up a rival to Naked Bus – ManaBus.com – last November with six double-deck coaches to serve eight destinations on the North Island.
