Funding for new rail enhancements in England could be severely constrained in the next decade, the Office of Rail and Road (ORR) has warned.

The message comes in the ORR’s initial consultation on the next periodic review, which will set Network Rail’s funding for Control Period 6 (CP6), covering 2019/20-2023/24.
