Greater Manchester’s busway is proving popular with the public, with growing patronage and “exceptional” levels of customer satisfaction, councillors have heard. 

About 47,000 passengers a week now use the Leigh/Atherton-Manchester busway, which was opened by Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) in April.
