Transport Scotland has earmarked £3.34m from the Scottish Stations Fund for a new rail station at Dalcross on the Inverness to Aberdeen line, east of Inverness. The station will provide better access to Inverness Airport, Inverness Airport business Park, and proposed housing development at Tornagrain.
