Revolving infrastructure fund for unitary Oxfordshire

A revolving infrastructure fund could be set up in Oxfordshire if the county moves to a unitary structure of governance, says Oxfordshire County Council.

The fund would be used to deliver transport and other infrastructure needed to facilitate housing and economic development. The fund could draw on a number of sources, such as:  

• a share of the cost savings achieved by moving to a unitary model of governance

• the Community Infrastructure Levy and Section 106
