While the proposed strategic road network for London is acceptable "in general terms", there is a risk that it could create a layer of bureaucracy that outweighs any benefits it could bring, the Association of London Government has warned. The ALG outlined its stance in its response to plans from the Government Office for London (GOL) to create a 520km strategic road network in the capital.
