The Committee on Climate Change (CCC) is demanding renewed action to bring down transport carbon dioxide emissions, after the sector’s emissions rose for the third year running.
The CCC says the UK’s progress to achieving the Climate Change Act target of an 80% reduction in emissions by 2050 against 1990 levels is “stalling”.
