A company building a new train line linking Orlando to Miami in Florida is to also develop rental apartments convenient for a station on the new 'Brightline,' it has been reported.

Flordia East Coast Industries, building a $3bn, 235-mile express train system, is launching a development company, Park-Line, according to The Miami Herald, including "three towers of rental apartments...at Brightline's West Palm Beach station" and two further towers "at Miami Central station". Daniel Quintana, vice-president of development for Florida East Coast Industries, said in a statement that Park-Line residences are "designed for people on the move who want to live and travel smarter".

In a statement also reported in My Palm Beach Post, he said that the planned towers would "expand residents' playground and working options by utilising a vast variety of transit options just steps away from their front door". My Palm Beach Post said that construction on the route has yet to begin and it will be at least two years before services start running, but the company was "using its social media channels to try to woo commuters".
