A research consortium has unveiled three of the six self-driving cars that will feature in tests on public roads in Oxfordshire and between Oxford and London.
The DRIVEN project led by Oxbotica will test Level 4 automation, enabling the vehicle to drive itself most of the time without any human input. The project will culminate in multiple end-to-end journeys between Oxford and London in 2019.
