TfL’s Uber London ban sharply splits media commentators

The decision by Transport for London to revoke the private hire licence of ‘ride-hailing app’ firm Uber generated a great deal of media coverage, with a fairly even split between those for and against the ban.

Media pundits were fairly evenly split on Transport for London’s decision to suspend ‘ride-hailing’ smartphone app platform Uber’s London operations once its current private hire licence expires on 30 September.
