Transport for London is consulting on plans to ban all end-to-end vehicular traffic – including bicycles – from a section of Oxford Street, central London’s main shopping street. 

The proposals cover Oxford Street West (OSW) – the section of the street from Orchard Streetto Oxford Circus – and surrounding streets. 

Currently, only buses, taxis, and delivery vehicles can use Oxford Street between 07.00 and 19.00, Monday to Saturday.
