The first of a new fleet of bikes for the Santander cycle hire scheme in London have hit the streets. The bikes, manufactured by Stratford upon Avon-based Pashley Cycles, feature a number of differences from the existing fleet, including: a gel saddle, a lower frame, smaller wheels, tyres with puncture prevention, and better positioned and brighter Blaze lighting. The bikes have Bluetooth wireless technology and the capacity for GPS technology, allowing system operator Serco to record bike...
