DfT to fund better rail station access

The Government has pledged £370m to be spent over the next ten years on improving access to Britain's rail network. The ring-fenced 'Access for All' funding will be targeted at making station access step-free. Each year Netowrk Rail will spend £35m to improve access to the busiest stations.
